AIDA is pleased to announce the launch of a new Task Force on Atmospheric Water Governance.
Atmospheric water remains one of the most overlooked components of the global water cycle, yet atmospheric water flows play a significant role in precipitation patterns, ecosystem functioning, climate regulation, water security, and transboundary water governance. As scientific understanding of these dynamics advances, important legal, policy, and governance questions are emerging that require multidisciplinary attention.
This Task Force will bring together experts, practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and students to explore these issues and contribute to an emerging field that sits at the intersection of water law, environmental governance, and climate science.
Participation is open to both AIDA members and non-members. We warmly encourage you to join and to share this invitation within your networks.
